Growing up in Belvidere, Illinois, Bratter has always had a passion for music. It’s the reason he gets up in the morning. He is constantly writing and finding ways to make better music. However, he is also constantly battling with depression. Using music a means to escape from the world and the darkness, he writes what he truly feels and never pretends to be someone he isn’t. 
 He hopes to bring one simple message to others across the world, “You are not alone. You are strong. Don’t give up. No matter how tempting it is. Trust me, I know it can be tempting at times to just end it. And I know it’s hard to let go of the past. There’s still things that I’m trying to let go of in my past. Just live in the moment. You can’t change your past. So just live in the moment and have fun.”
