BOYFRIEND (보이프렌드) is a six-member idol group that formed under Starship Entertainment in 2010. Their official fandom name was known as BESTFRIEND.

The group, which is the first idol group among males and females to have twin members, consists of Kim Donghyun (동현), Shim Hyunseong (현성), Lee Jeongmin (정민), Jo Youngmin (영민), Jo Kwangmin (광민), and No Minwoo (민우). All members use their given names as their stage name.

BOYFRIEND debuted May 26, 2011, on M!Countdown with their eponymous debut single, “Boyfriend.” The group would go on to release a myriad of discography in their home country of South Korea, as well as in Japan.

On May 17, 2019, their agency, Starship Entertainment, had announced that the group would disband following the end of all the members' contracts. The group would remain disbanded until April 30, 2021, when the members announced that they would be reuniting and would promote under the name BF.

As a result, the group released their first digital single “Ending Credit," which released on May 26, 2021.
