Boy Sim
AKA: Christopher Sauceda
Christopher Sauceda, who is better known as Boy Sim, is a producer, singer, and songwriter who burst onto the pop music scene in early 2016. Christopher grew up in Brownsville, Texas, and started performing and writing songs when he was just 12 years old.
After spending years perfecting his skills in production and songwriting under various names, he released his hit song “Animals” on Calm Records, a label from the UK.
Boy Sim has played at SXSW in Austin, Texas, for the past few years, opened for artists like Charli XCX and Dorian Electra at Femmebot Fantasy, and went on a sold-out national tour as the opening act for Slayyyter.
He is also a graduate of Booker T Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Dallas, Texas, where famous artists like Erykah Badu and Norah Jones also studied before they became well-known.
After graduating, Boy Sim moved to Los Angeles to study audio engineering. Now, he lives in Austin, Texas, where he enjoys making music with friends and is excited about his future in the music industry.
