Boaz Bey, performing as just Boaz, is an American rapper from Pittsburgh, PA. A well-respected MC in Pittsburgh’s underground hip-hop scene, Boaz ran with a crew called the Govament from 2003–2010. After the group disbanded, Boaz began working with a local DJ, DJ Shef, to establish a solo career. In 2012, Boaz signed to Rostrum Records, the same Pittsburgh label that discovered Wiz Khalifa and Mac Miller.
