Jamari Isiaha Spencer-Brown (born March 17, 2005), professionally known as bleood (previously known as deffici1e and m4ri), is a recording artist hailing from Florida that has cultivated a loyal fan base with his unorthodox and distorted approach to traditional rap that can only be described as uniquely his.
bleood began releasing music in 2020 under the alias “m4ri” (fka. m4rikys), and would make tracks under the cloud rap and “2k13 Hood EDM” genres. He would join the collectives Scarlet and Infrared early on in his career and later became a member of xaviersobased’s collective 1c. He would continue to develop and refine his own sound, leaning into the more distorted and echoed sound as he began to experiment with different beats and genres throughout 2021-2022, and later created his own collective with his artist friends who were going down similar paths with their sound called #back.
Eventually bleood would release his track “enamored with dread” in 2022, which would receive a co-sign from Hyperpop Daily which gained him a significant boost in public notoriety at the time.
bleood would continue to make music and slowly grow in numbers until he would release the track “depression doesnt explain how i feel” in December of 2023 following his EP seal of memories. This explosion in popularity would continue into 2024 as he would continue to refine and experiment with his harsh and distorted sound that resonated with many listeners. During this time he also ditched the #back collective and formed the now infamous iGore.
He would continue to ride this fame into 2025 where he dropped his first official mixtape pain which blended elements of hardstyle, traditional rap, and dance all with his own unique twist on them. With the release of this mixtape, bleood has cultivated an even stronger following.
In May 2025, bleood went on a run of singles, with “alucard”, a glitchy trap song featuring heavy distortion and bleood’s unique style, gaining him widespread popularity and going viral. At the end of this run, bleood began announcing his new mixtape, rascal 51, which released on October 24, blending elements of experimental rap, rage, and trap with his unique distorted sound. rascal 51 would gather widespread attention from fans, making bleood an established artist in the underground scene. He would end off the year with the release of how bleood stole Xmas on Christmas Day.
Entering into 2026, bleood’s streak of success would continue thanks to songs such as “nine²” and “i <3 seals” gathering attention through social media. On May 14, 2026, bleood would release his fourth official mixtape, PROTAGONIST, a teaser to his upcoming debut studio album Kill Your Idols.
