Nathan Bird (‘Birdz’) is an Aboriginal (Butchulla and Nguburinji) Australian rapper, songwriter and record producer. He was born and raised in Katherine, Northern Territory.

He released his first song in June 2013 called Red Black and Yellow. His experiences as a young Aboriginal man residing in Brisbane inspired the song.

When he released his first EP, Birdz Eye View, Birdz was completing honours in Indigenous Studies at Melbourne University and the University of Queensland.
