Bernie Worrell

Bernard George Worrell Jr. (April 19, 1944 – June 24, 2016) was an American keyboardist, musician, songwriter, and record producer from Long Branch, New Jersey. He was best known as a founding member of the Parliament-Funkadelic collective and a touring member for Talking Heads. Bernie Worrell died on June 24, 2016, in Everson, Washington, due to cancer, at the age of 72.
