US singer-songwriter, Ber (Berit Dybing) made her live debut at SXSW in 2022, with her debut EP, And I’m Still Thinking About That, released the same year.

Ber grew up surrounded by musical theater in Minnesota, but it wasn’t until she moved to the UK as a young adult to attend Leeds Conservatoire where she graduated with a degree in popular music and songwriting. It was during this time that the idea of becoming a singer-songwriter truly clicked for her.

Ber would spend a total of five years overseas before returning to Minnesota, when she began writing songs with the writers and producers she’d met abroad on Zoom. She originally imagined herself working strictly behind the scenes, but after building an impressive catalog, she decided to step forward and launch her own artist project.

After sharing demo versions of songs, including her single “Meant To Be” with songwriter and artist Charlie Oriain, on TikTok in anticipation of her debut EP, things took off fast after an impressive response with fans begging for music to be officially released. She would follow the success of “Meant To Be”, in 2022 with her debut EP And I’m Still Thinking About That.
