Born in Malawi, Ben Chidyaonga AKA BENNOTBENJAMIN is a rapper, producer, and student based in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. Influenced by Lil Wayne, Kendrick, jazz music, Young thug, Mick Jenkins and his homies. BENNOTBENJAMIN started exploring his passion in music in 2016 on his Laptop using FL studio. Falling in the Hip-Hop and Rap genre, BENNOTBENJAMIN is expanding his sound in Hip hop with Neosoul-esque tones and textures, A cocktail of hard witting bars blending with quick raps on some records, and diversified flows and moods with his fluid personal.

BENNOTBENJAMIN’s first official release came in 2019 with Come Up, Early Night, and other Soundcloud tracks. 2020 is a special year as BENNOTBENJAMIN releases his first project ZAHAVIAN SIGNALS with Nigel. The project had some tracks appear on the NEW WAVE MALAWI playlist. BENNOTBENJAMIN will also be dropping his highly anticipated solo debut project AIRBNB.
