BENNEY is a 17 year old artist and producer. His style derived from his inspirations such as Juice WRLD, Swae Lee, TheHxliday, and Travis Scott. He is mostly a melodic rapper who originated in making “Juice WRLD-esque” sad songs and love songs. Over his discography you can see him grow with every new release. He has expanded the type of music he makes while improving in quality, trying to make a name for himself and eventually put out music quality enough to catch attraction from the mainstream public. His first two albums, Love Is Drugs and Love Is Drugs: Heartbroken or Heartbreaker follow the 2-sided tape formula as they start with a specific mood and have 2-part song in the middle that separates the two sections. His most recent project, “Therapy” showcases the most potential that we’ve seen from him as him and Swango, his most beloved producer, executive produced this project so it is the first time that BENNEY’s production is put on the main stage. He also showcases new styles that we haven’t seen from him before. In full, this most recent project showcases all of the potential that the young artist has and if it’s a sign of anything, it’s a sign that potential greatness oozes out of BENNEY’s discography and it will most definitely be exciting to see what he creates next.
