Beast was a South Korean boy group, consisting of five members: Yong Jun-hyung, Lee Gi-Kwang, Son Dong-woon, Yang Yo-seob, and Yoon Doo-joon.

Originally as six, they debuted in 2009 under record label Cube Entertainment with the mini album Beast is the B2ST.

In early 2016, member Jang Hyun-seung left the group to pursue a career as a solo artist.

After their seven-year contracts with Cube Entertainment had ended on October 15th, 2016, the members decided to not renew.

They eventually established their own agency, Around US Entertainment and changed their group name to HIGHLIGHT.
