Beardfish is a Swedish retro-progressive rock band that has been active since 2002. The band experienced a hiatus from 2016 to 2023. In November 2024, they will release their ninth studio album, titled Songs For Beating Hearts.

During the hiatus, founding member Rikard Sjöblom remained active in the music scene. He collaborated with other members of Beardfish through his project, Rikard Sjöblom’s Gungfly.
