Freddie Demarus Gladney III, known professionally as Bankroll Freddie, was born on October  15th, 1994, in Helena, Arkansas, and spent his early childhood there. In 2009, after his cousin was tragically shot and killed, his mother relocated with him to Conway, Arkansas, where he later graduated from Conway High School in 2013.

He gained traction in the rap scene starting with a 2017 freestyle and was officially signed by Quality Control Music (under Motown Records) a couple years later. His breakthrough came with the 2021 album Big Bank, featuring collaborations with artists such as Megan Thee Stallion, Gucci Mane, EST Gee, 2 Chainz, PnB Rock, Young Dolph (his cousin by blood), and more.

On April 14, 2022, Bankroll Freddie was arrested during a traffic stop by Arkansas State Police on Interstate 55 in Marion, Arkansas, for speeding.
Court documents indicate he was subsequently indicted in November 2022 as part of a large-scale federal operation involving the alleged EBK (Every Body Killas) drug trafficking conspiracy.
