Shidreyius McClinton, professionally known as Baby Plug (born February 25, 2001), is an American recording artist from East Atlanta, Georgia.

Baby Plug began his career in 2019 with his debut album, “Lemme Pop My Shxt”, which garnered a reputable amount of attention. This attention carried him into 2020, with his album’s “Topic” & “Lemme Pop My Shxt 2”, featuring artists including Young Nudy, Lil Keed, and Lil Gotit.

In an interview with Lyrical Lemonade, Baby Plug explains what first got him to try music:

Liking melodies and playing with melodies and also watching MTV Jams a lot. Also when I was 6 or 7 I would freestyle for my mama during people’s birthdays and stuff like that – it would make her laugh. My brother’s step-dad made music and would try to get me to do music, but I never really did it too much back then.

On February 27, 2021, Baby Plug was found guilty alongside an accomplice for the murder of rapper Scarfo Da Plug in Los Angeles, California; Specifically a residential neighborhood south of the Melrose Avenue shopping district. Baby Plug’s sentencing is unknown.
