August “Auggie” Riley Greenwood (they/he) is a singer, songwriter and actor based in Charleston SC, who at the young age of 16 has already written and published two full length musicals. The musicals are complete with script, sountrack and score; all written and composed by them. Their musicals are entitled “Antonia the Musical”, and “Two Maiden Ladies”, both boasting their own (true) historical stories.

In spring of 2020, August signed on to the Averno franchise, becoming a primary composer alongside good friend Sushi Soucy. They spent the entirety of summer 2020, at “Camp Averno” in Virginia writing and composing three musicals for the franchise; Willow, Bittersummer and Over and Out. The group was offered a triple record deal by Broadway Records. The first album, for Willow: a New Musical, was released in fall 2020 and became a massive hit; rising to #8 on the musical charts and garnering over 300,000 streams.

In fall of 2021, August came out with another group of survivors to reveal the abuse they suffered behind the scenes of Averno. You can check out the survivors statements in the ExVerno carrd.
