Atreyu is a metalcore band founded in Orange County, California in 1998. The band’s name originated from the book/movie The Neverending Story. They have eight full-length albums to date;

After the departure of long-time and OG unclean vocalist Alex Varkatzas, Drummer and clean vocalist Brandon Saller stepped up to take over the mantle of main vocalist while Marc ‘Porter’ McKnight took over the duties of dueling out the uncleans. Saller, who has a side project called ‘Hell or High Water’ brought on Kyle Rosa from the project to take over his drumming duties. In 2021, Atreyu released Baptize which was the first album without Varkatzas’ vocals at least, as he hand in the writing some of the songs, and the first with Rosa on drums.
