John Eaddy, known by his stage name Armageddon, is an American rapper and record producer from the Bronx, NY. He is best known for being a member of the rap group Terror Squad which consisted of him, Big Pun, Cuban Link, Triple Seis, Prospect and Fat Joe.

Being one of Fat Joe’s earliest and closest associates, Armageddon made his debut in ‘95, appearing on the song “Watch Out” from Fat Joe’s second album Jealous One’s Envy. The track also features verses from Big Pun and Keith Nut. Armageddon (alongside Big Pun) also featured on the track “Firewater” which was on a promotional EP for Jealous One’s Envy. He then appeared on Joe’s Don Cartagena LP, appearing on four tracks (one of them being his first solo track).

On September 21, 1999, Terror Squad released their first album under TS Entertainment/Atlantic Records and the album debuted at number 22 on the Billboard 200 and number 4 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts in the United States.

Nearly a year after the album release, Big Pun passed away from a heart attack on Feburary 7, 2000 due to his massive weight issues. Pun’s death eventually caused both Triple Seis and Cuban Link to leave TS and they were both replaced with Remy Ma and Tony Sunshine. Although, Armageddon (alongside Prospect) still remained in the group.

On July 27, 2004, Terror Squad released their second album True Story, which debuted number 7 on the Billboard 200, selling 90,000 units in its first week. Armageddon can be heard on the songs “Hum Drum”, “Take Me Home”, and “Pass Away”. Armageddon also produced “Thunder in the Air” which was Prospect’s solo on the album.

Two years later, Terror Squad disbanded and each member focused on their solo careers. In 2010, Armageddon released his debut solo project The Journal, Volume 1: Rebirth.
