Archie James Cavanaugh
Archie James Cavanaugh was born in Wrangell and raised in Kake, Alaska, a predominately Tlingit community, of which he was a member of, located on Kupreanoff Island of Southeast Alaska.
Starting off young, Archie went on to form a band with other classmates, called “Poor Boys:, titled due to their instruments being so worn.
He went on to assemble and record with a professional band and record “Black and White Raven” in Portland, Oregon.
Archie released 3 albums: Black and White Raven, Love Birds, and Alaska Jazz respectively.
