Apparatus
Apparatus is not just a project—it is a manifestation.
A shifting construct of sound, born from isolation, discipline, and inner unrest.
Created by Mumbai-based artist Thomson Maxie Ferreira, Apparatus exists in the space between control and collapse—where precision meets chaos, and structure dissolves into atmosphere. Rooted in progressive and experimental metal, its sound fractures into forms of technical death metal, djent, jazz, ambient, and black metal—unbound by genre, guided only by instinct.
Everything you hear is built from within.
Guitars, bass, vocals, composition, production, visuals—constructed, deconstructed, and reassembled by a single mind.
There is no separation between the creator and the creation.
Only signal and transmission.
Influenced by the weight of the past and the unknown ahead, Apparatus does not follow a sound—it evolves through it. Each piece is a fragment. Each release, a document of transformation.
