Anthony Peaks, better known as Apache was a rapper and high profile member of Queen Latifah’s collective Flavor Unit. Apache came into his own with his Top 20 hit “Gangsta Bitch” from his lone 1993 solo album Apache Ain’t Shit. Throughout his career, Apache made guest appearances on songs by 2Pac, Naughty By Nature, Queen Latifah and Fat Joe. After quitting music, he planned to revive his career in 2009. Unfortunately, Apache died on January 22, 2010 of heart failure at age 45.
