Antigoni
Antigoni Buxton, known mononymously as Antigoni, born March 9 1996, is a British-Cypriot singer and songwriter. Signed her first publishing deal at 14, she rose to prominence when she competed on the eighth season of the reality show Love Island. She represented Cyprus in the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 with the song “Jalla” (meaning ‘more’ in Cypriot Greek). She placed 19th in the final. Since signing her publishing deal, she as been developing a powerfully original sound that seamlessly incorporates her cultural roots with her city-based surroundings. It’s not uncommon for listeners to note the contrasting influence of Hip-Hop, Pop and traditional Bouzouki music all in a single track. This blend of genres, and of Antigoni’s worlds, results in a sound that feels strikingly fresh yet universally familiar; proudly representing her heritage across modern soundscapes.
