Another Lost Year formed in 2011, in Charlotte, North Carolina.
It was a chance meeting at an open-mic night between lead singer/guitarist, Clinton Cunanan and bassist/vocalist, Adam Hall that started the band’s history. To complete the lineup, they enlisted drummer/vocalist, Nathan Walker and guitarist/vocalist, Jorge Sotomarino.

Another Lost Year signed to Mirage M'hal Records, and released their debut album, Better Days, in 2012.
