Anonymus is a canadian trash metal band based in Quebec. The band formed in 1989, releasing their first album, Ni vu, ni connu, back in 1994.

Actual members are Oscar Souto (bass & vocals), Daniel Souto (guitar & vocals), Carlos Araya (drums & vocals) and Jef Fortin (guitar & vocals – since 2006), replacing Marco Calliari (guitar & vocals) that assumed the same position as Fortin from 1989 to 2006.

During the 2000s, they released a couple albums fronted by Mononc' Serge, under the name Mononc' Serge & Anonymus.

In 2016, from an initiative of Productions Rhizome, they made a serie of shows, and recorded a collection of songs written and performed by Quebecer poets Benoit Jutras, Roger Desroches, Thierry Dimanche, Érika Soucy and Bertrand Laverdure, titled P.O.M.M.E. (Poésie Oralité Métal Musique Écrit).
