Kye Mitchell (born in April 18, 2001 in Brooklyn, New York and raised from Austell, Georgia), better known as Animo Kunst (pronounced /æ-ni-mo : koon-st) or Yung Nimo, is a “multi-genre experimental musician” as he defines himself with the sole reason being because of the fact he “isn’t afraid to tap into any sound he finds interesting.”

Mind Art – the meaning behind Animo’s name is as follows: “animo” is Latin for mind and “kunst” is German for art. The conjuring of these words to form a name was inspired by XXXTENTACION and Lady Gaga. When together, “mind art” is formed, which is a symbolization of creativity and imagination.

Animo’s influences include XXXTENTACION, Young Thug, Nirvana, Travis Scott, Alison Wonderland, Papa Roach, Three Days Grace, Lady Gaga, and various Japanese rock bands such as Asian Kung-Fu Generation, Flow, and Cal.

Animo Kunst is part of the experimental music band called “Persona.”
