alyzea
AKA: alyzea alyzea
alyzea is a French producer who is known for their nostalgic and atmospheric soundscape, or commonly dubbed “Frutiger Aero,” a design style from the mid-2000s known for glossy buttons, soft blue and green colors, water drops, and a general feeling of a bright digital future. According to their website, they describe that their music is an inspiration behind the internet of the 2000s, specifically the old Windows style:
alyzea is a music project about the internet of the 2000s. The one that felt like discovering something new every time you logged on. Atmospheric, ambient, emotional. Made from old online memories, forgotten digital aesthetics, and the specific feeling of exploring virtual worlds for the first time. The kind of music that feels like you’ve heard it before, somewhere, a long time ago.
alyzea’s debut album, dream OS, came out on May 9, 2025, playing as an old computer interface come to life. Tracks like “r e f l e c t i o n s,” “logged in for hours,” “distant ocean,” and “crystal settings” became especially popular on TikTok, helping more listeners discover the project.
Before alyzea’s second album, dream island, alyzea released early singles that shaped this sound, including “always online,” “heaven drive,” and “wake up, it’s 2006,” all released in 2025.
Paste Magazine describes alyzea’s album dream island as an attempt to grow beyond the “opening screen” feeling of the first record and build a full virtual world instead. The album draws on a slightly wider stretch of memory, moving through references to Windows Vista, early YouTube, and the Nintendo Wii, blending sounds like startup chimes and old software installation music into something new.
