The inception of Alex1 began in 2017 from his native West London. Built from posting freestyles and what he’d call “bad quality songs”, it eventually led to a search for a more present and authentic version of himself. Over the next 4 years, Alex continued to drop music, but his mind was focused on conceptualizing every aspect of the new artist he was ready to be. In 2021, he took a brief break to gather himself and then finally unveiled the new artist he was: an iteration that showed his true thoughts and feelings with no bounds. This sparked a series of releases over 2021, closing the year with his top tracks “Late Night Trips” and “On My Mind”, which gathered 4.3 million and 1.1 million streams respectively. It didn’t take long for Alex to capture the attention and love of his audience either, with most of his catalog being under or around 2 minutes per single. This set Alex1 on a catapult into the next year and a focused vision of where his art would go. 2022 saw his most recent release, “Dreaming”, a more refined and cohesive single that received nods from the UK Rap/Drill scene.
