“Not a day went by when music wasn’t playing throughout my house,” he says talking about his childhood.“ The multitalented 18-year-old spent most, if not all of his days growing up singing his heart away. But everything changed once he posted his first cover on the social media giant, TikTok in early 2019. He released his first single Stay Here on November 15th, 2019, and has made thousands fall in love with his beautiful lyrics, voice, and personality.
“I like to write music about things happening in my life at that moment in time so that when people are listening, it’s like they’re living a little bit of my life with me. I truly wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for the fans, so I thank them from the bottom of my heart. I love you all so much. Keep streaming.”
In early 2024, Sampson auditioned for season 19 of America’s Got Talent, reaching the semifinals with his original songs “Pretty Baby”, “If You Were My Girl”, and “Wallflower”. All three tracks later appeared on his second EP, Hopeless Romantic, released on September 27, 2024.
In February 2026, Sampson launched his first North American headlining run, the Thank You For Loving Me Tour. During the tour, a viral moment from his opening act, UK singer Mary Jo, spread widely after she joked, “You look like my brother and I’m into it,” leading “Pretty Baby” to chart on iTunes for a second time, two years after its original release.
