aftrr! (born January 23, 2002) is a Los Angeles–based artist, producer, and songwriter.

He began making music in 2017 after being introduced to production through SoundCloud, underground rap, and Genius' “Deconstructed” videos.

In an interview with UCLA Radio, he revealed that he started as aftrr! in 2022, using platforms like SoundCloud to build a consistent output and following. In the same interview, he stated that he started off as a producer before recording his own music:

I started music as a producer first, and making beats.

His first performance took place at Infrared in Chicago, hosted by BACKLIGHT, alongside peers such as funeral, FearDorian, and reefuh. The show marked an early step into live performances. Just a couple of months later, he performed in his hometown, Los Angeles, alongside funeral, nomu., and scottryan.

His debut album, aftrrLife, was released on May 16, 2025, just a month after his debut performance. The project draws from his past work in a more evolved sound, inspired by EDM and internet music scenes he grew up on.

Outside of aftrr!, he has also discussed plans for a separate alias, nero stasis, which is intended to explore more rap-focused sounds and serve as a more experimental and collaborative outlet.
