afflicted was a now-disbanded music collective founded by the artist crusey in August 2022, widely recognized within the digicore scene. The collective began gaining significant attention at the start of 2023, featuring artists such as 1crusafix, trustt, 14106lyn (formerly c4pri), akkiro, girlsynth (formerly loriee), cldsummer, uxie, terastic, erdo, mycorpsebride, isai, dime!, prkr blu, breakupbreakdown, lorrific, venthan, and deepinparis.

afflicted continued releasing music consistently until the summer of 2023, when members began shifting focus to solo work and gradually moving away from the digicore sound that had initially brought them together. During this transition, several artists were removed from the roster, and new members such as essoh and knuckles were brought in as part of an effort to push the collective’s sound in a new direction. One of the final efforts to revive the group came in the form of a single titled “vitals,” marking the symbolic end of afflicted’s original run.

In the following months, many of the original members regrouped under a new name, forming a second collective known as #3six0, ending a period of limited collaboration between them. Then, in November 2024, the members of afflicted returned one last time, releasing a final track—a digicore collaboration featuring the full #3six0 roster. The track presented an evolved take on the sound the original collective had pioneered, serving as a fitting end to afflicted.
