Acumen Nation is an industrial rock band formed in 1988 as Acumen by brothers Jason and Ethan Novak in Chicago Illinois. In 1997, after a dispute with a pre-existing band named Acumen, they were forced to change their name. The band split their project into two halves, DJ?Acucrack with a focus on drum & bass, and the more rock-oriented Acumen Nation.
