Acetantina is the former alias of Kaizo Ziad from digital hardcore band Kaizo Slumber. Under this name, he experimented with vaporwave and footwork to create glitched, lush dance music.

The pseudonym rose to a cult following when the song “Puddle of Nitrogen” was pushed by the Spotify algorithm, and was put to rest in 2021 with the release of Carmen Winstead.
