Ace P is a hip-hop producer from Minneapolis, MN, staking his claim on the scene through dusty drum breaks and sample-based loops that stick to your ribs. He grew up playing the drums and keys, but his heart ultimately pulled him towards the MPC. The “dark art” of sampling always had an appeal. This grew as he started to connect the dots between his father’s favorite songs from the ‘60s/'70s, which oftentimes were sampled by his own favorite producers. He released his debut album “Things I Can’t Speak About” on January 6, 2023 alongside a release party show at 7th St. Entry where the entire album was performed.
