able machines started when singer/songwriter/actress Tay Côlieé connected with like-minded songwriter/producer Linus Dotson after both floating in the same musical circles, producing and writing for other pop artists — everyone from Ariana Grande to 5 Seconds Of Summer. They instantly clicked and started recording songs and directing their own music videos. “I think for both of us, writing this album was a cathartic purging of emotions,” explains Tay. “Each song is a little glimpse into the inner workings of our brains and how we navigate the tangled dynamics of angsty love.” The majority of Pathological was mixed by Seth Earnest (Tessa Violet) and mastered by Paul Logus (Notorious B.I.G.).
