Abigail “AABBYY” Jane Ashford is a singer / songwriter and producer with primary themes of mental health, trauma, religious confusion, queer relationship longings, and, of course, the heartbeat. She started learning to produce music on GarageBand, understand music theory with some help of absolute pitch, and write original songs when she was just in middle school. Later on, due to religious identity issues, she started receiving severe verbal harassment and has been since, leading to severe mental health problems such as depression, social anxiety, and PTSD.

AABBYY started releasing music on SoundCloud in late 2024, right after her parents divorced, starting with “all the things i’d hide”, exploring isolation and parasocial relationships. As AABBYY moved to Logic Pro, she has later on worked on “ww3” in early 2025, expanding themes to body dysmorphia, anger, and depression. AABBYY’s first debut album, “dreambleed”, however, put the two EPs together into a freshman expression even when there was backlash for choosing an unauthentic art cover and poor production. However, “MAD WOMAN” extends the effects of bullying and mental violence, and “Rosebud / Crimson Thorns” turns queerness and feminine pain into metaphors. In late 2025, “jester girl” comes along with a world of surrealism inspired by The Amazing Digital Circus itself, expressing the power of queer love and the importance of the jester character herself. “Adventure to Freedom” then expands the fictional world with different kinds of animations and other movies. “digital hell” and its deluxe version, “post traumatic digital hell” explore suppression, trauma, and grief of a hopeless bunny from the same show “jester girl” is inspired by, and now, AABBYY has recently posted hints for four TBAs in the making on her SoundCloud bio, giving people the opportunity to guess what’s to come.
