Being an aspiring artist from a young age, Malcolm Trill released a vast amount of music under various different aliases: Yung GA, Yung Franchize, Kidd Chize, Martin Dior, & Marty Swerve. Some of this music can still be found online. It wouldn’t be until adulthood that Malcolm Trill and MarcX begin making music as a duo and form 90z Made. 90z Made is signed to their self owned company, Urban Art Enterprise. In March 2017, 9M released their first single Roolah, which still remains their most popular to date. Due to the similarity in their compound name Malcolm X (Malcolm Trill & MarcX) and prominent activist Malcolm X, the duo decided to named their debut mixtape The Malcolm X Project which was released on May 19, 2017, Malcolm X’s birthday. The mixtape was well received on a small scale, receiving all positive reviews. Their hit single, Roolah, has even been featured on Record Labels Need Me Vol. 163 hosted by DJ Young Cee as well as made a debut in a few clubs in the south. Livin' Ya Life was also played on the local radio stations. More is in store for the duo as they begin work on their sophomore mixtape as well as a few upcoming shows and interviews during the fall quarter of 2017.
