451

AKA: Wstside45

451 is a British artist, songwriter, and record producer from London, United Kingdom.

His stage name was derived from the dystopian novel Fahrenheit 451 by American writer Ray Bradbury, first published in 1953. After several years of acclaimed and successful R&B and Rap records, his dark and trap-infused sound evolved into dreamy, synth heavy, disco-funk-inspired R&B, which formed and started a new era under the moniker FANTASY.

451 released his debut project Couleur on October 26, 2018. The EP consists of eight tracks, three of which have been released as a single. Featuring on the EP is Toronto artist SAFE. Executive produced by Mark Cruz and Sam Fresh.

In September 2020, he started dropping singles for his sophomore project Night Vision and released the mixtape on March 5, 2021. It came along highly anticipated records like “Nobu No More” or Fall’s Profit Freestyle".

After ending his 2021 releases with singles like “Hot For Me” and “On Edge”, he started 2022 with the release of Sierra, a tape compiled of demos that did not make it to another album.

Succeeding a couple of singles that experimented with cross-genre-production was “Fantasyland”, which first released on SoundCloud on December 4, 2022. Following up on his new found sound, singles like “Body Talk” and “MVP” quickly set the cornerstone of the new era.

In 2025, 451 released his full-length-tape “eclipse”, which was compiled of his older dark sounding components, as well as his new FANTASY-sound.
The project marked the artist’s musical transition from 451 into FANTASY.
