Morgan Reeves Lucy (born November 17, 2003), more commonly known by their stage name 27REEVES, is an artist and producer from Northwest Florida. They make mostly melodic underground pop and rap, sometimes leaning into rock and electronic territory.

Morgan started making primitive music as a six-year-old child in 2009, starting off with Audacity, a demo version of FL Studio 9, a headset from Dollar General, and a Windows XP computer. As they grew up, they kept dabbling in it over the years, and getting better, while making music for themselves only, mainly parodies of songs they listened to, but a few originals sometimes. After starting a few different SoundClouds between 2014 and 2017, and making music with friends from school, their work got more original, and in July 2017, they released their first song, “Addicted”, under the Addict27 SoundCloud, eventually changing the name to 27REEVES on April 28, 2020.

After releasing multiple songs, mixtapes, and EPs throughout 2017-2022, including the WIFIDEATH and RESTRICTED double projects, they released their debut album “EVOLUTION”“ on July 29, 2022. Following that release, they released the hyperpop-rap album “i hope i’m not alone” on March 10, 2023, which talked about mental health issues they dealt with, which wasn’t talked about as much in their previous works. It saw good success for their size at the time, and was loved by most fans. The last track, “identity thief (robbery)” quickly became a fan favorite, mostly due to the new post-punk/indie sound that didn’t sound like the rest of the album. After the success and positive feedback from the song, they released another album on June 23, 2023, three months later, based on the sound, titled “identity thief”, with the same name after the song, becoming another fan favorite album, but with a post-punk, indie, and gritty underground rock sound. To this day, “identity thief (robbery)” is the only 27REEVES song to be featured on two albums at the same time.

27REEVES released the “WIFIDEATH: SIDE C” mixtape-EP, on September 8, 2023, a call back to their previous 2020 “WIFIDEATH” series, with a more polished, mature, and modern take. They then released a couple singles in between the EP and the 18 track mixtape, “RESOLUTION”, on February 2, 2024. 27REEVES released an alternative/experimental rock project titled “AT WAR WITH MYSELF”, on July 25, 2025, most of it being written while in a voluntary mental hospital visit in November 2024, after dealing with some traumatic events. Morgan is doing better now and they have been slowly transitioning into a more electronic-based sound with their music. After taking a step back from releasing albums, and being locked in the studio, they released a jerk and electronic-based EP, titled “individuality”, on April 17th, 2026. An account credibly claiming to be 27REEVES on Reddit also informally announced while responding to a fan, that another project, “DUALITY”, was on its way, expected to release sometime between July and September 2026. It will be a fully electronic based and mostly self produced project.
