AKA: One Chance (1c34), 1c34

1c, also known as 1c34, is an American rap collective based in New York. It was founded and curated by xaviersobased in 2021, with the collective’s first release being “anchor.” 1c is short for One Chance.

The collective was originally intended to be a gaming clan, as xaviersobased and his close friends would represent the group in their display names while playing Tony Hawk’s Underground: Pro. In an interview with Kingmil The 8 God, xavier goes more into detail about 1c’s origins:

I always had that name just in my head for a group forever. […] I wanted that to be a gaming clan or some shit at first, but it never really happened. And then, I started playing a lot of Tony Hawk’s Underground with the homies. […] So then, we made it, we had the 1c gaming clan on the [Tony Hawk’s Underground] shit, and then it got to a point where I wanted to make my collective, so I just named it 1c.
