12omo, formerly “Romo & SPTMBR-8TH”, is an artist/producer from Birmingham, UK. Having grown with eclectic influences like Nas, Basement Jaxx, Brandy and So Solid Crew, his sound explores various avenues. Whilst under the alias “Romo”, active: 2007-2013, he released several EPs including Jam your hype and a mixtape, also entitled JYH. The two projects saw collaborative efforts with names like Wiley, Swindle and Dot Rotten, and also gained the attention of BBC 1XTRA (Mistajam & DJ Target) and BBC 6 Music (Tom Robinson).

As “SPTMBR-8TH”, he released an EP inspired by future sounds labelled Virgo. Under London based record label Trapdoor Record, the project gained over 100k SoundCloud plays). 12omo has released a house/UKG EP *Weekender, an R&B/trap-soul type track “Infinite” and more recently grime/rap tracks “Bound To Be Great” and “Apollo”.

2019 sees the artist continuing to work confined by no genre, self-producing music and music videos to match.
