Utopia

A world with no misery

A world with no grief

I can’t help but dream

Of Utopia

A world where people thrive

A world where no one cries

I can’t help but strive

For Utopia

No more of the rich

Making the poor their bitch

No more wishy washy

Flip floppin fair weathered

Foos making a switch

From “Ohana is family”

To, “I no longer want to raise you Stitch”

No more greedy overpaid executives

A season

Where the underdogs

Win a championship

To be able to live

Where we can be happy and productive

Where we don’t feel jealousy

Towards others who be confident and seductive

To be able to live

In a world where we’re only loving

And no longer honor the ways

Of dumb thuggin

A world where social status means nothing

An abundance of peace

Where everyone can join the feast

Where it also means

Everybody participated in the harvest

Where starving artists can eat

And the pardoned feel blessed

And in return pardons the least of the least

A world where we’re outsmarting

The schemes

That cause poverty

And needless wars

Where in the valleys

Of shadow and death

We protect

And murder is no more

Where it feels sweet

To exist on the planet earth

Where everyone

Regardless of their talents, abilities

Feel like they have a sense of worth
