There is an animal deep within

My blackened mind

Goodness is lost my heart is cold

Sometimes I lose control

Over the demon in my soul

I am no longer my own master

Going on this way alone

My real face I cannot show

It’s too dangerous

To walk at my side

Love me in the morning

And fear me at night

Now is the day this is the end

There is no more time to spend

In delusional

I look at my bloody hands

Now I want to end this torment

But there’s a voice

Whispering to me

Commanding me to carry on

And I cannot resist

The smell of new blood

I am the hunter - I am the prey
