Left flat und turned my back, simple pleasures never last

Took flight, aimed my sights, do it myself whatever feels right

All the feelings give it to me, I make no apologies

This loneliness I can't help as it destroys my mental health

How long is to long, I always wanna be alone

I lost a piece of myself in the shuffle on my phone

The more i ignore the world the more I consume

My distractions have become me, all my morals taken from me

Who I am is what I'm watching, tears for pleasure, pain for profit

Acting out a scripted story, a mindless puppateer performance

Expose yourself and take a bow, shut down, sleep mode coming now

How long is to long, I always wanna be alone

I lost a piece of myself in the shuffle on my phone

The more i ignore the world the more I consume

Slow Drown - What happened to my intellect?

Slow Drown - What happened to my curiosity?

Slow Drown - What happened to my wonderment?

Slow Drown - There was a time when I knew who I was

Can't see the shore

But I still want more

Slow Drown - The deep has overtaken me

Slow Drown - The quiet conquest of my soul

Can't see the shore

But I still want more

Broken dreams tied to my feet, plunging me into the sea

Broken, all my heroes broken

All surroundings disappear, bright rectangle coming clear

Falling, frozen as I fall

Broken dreams tied to my feet, plunging me into the sea

Broken, all my heroes broken

All surroundings disappear, No ambition, pride or fear

Falling, frozen as i fall

Still I want more...
