And that’s not counting the ammount of Black Eyed Peas number ones.

He is burning up the charts the same way the fire deep down inside of him pushes him to make songs that will top the charts and make himself proud at the end of the day.

Reminiscent of Daft Punk’s 2001 electronic hit “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger”

“Harder better faster stronger, more than hour, hour never”

This could be a reference to the cartoon penguin “Chilly Willy”. “Chilly” and “cool” are synonyms for the word “cold”.

will.i.am is an extremely successful rapper and producer. He’s won about 7 Grammy Awards, all being with the Black Eyed Peas. He’s made countless number 1 singles and has made other artists many number one singles, so he’s basically one of the most successful musicians out there.

He is referring to how he made it out of his former home, the Estrada Courts housing projects in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles. This album was one of the many things that he has done in his career that helps him make sure he will never return there.

This is a very popular quote, referenced in several pop songs by the likes of Kanye West and Kelly Clarkson. Will.i.am has been through a lot in his life, but since none of it has killed him he must be getting stronger, if the Nietzsche quote is anything to go by.

will.i.am’s success has been phenomenal, so much so that a million dollars is a thing of the past.

He’s on to that next target, that billion dollar net worth.

On a lesser extent, it could refer to his number of record sales (combined with The Black Eyed Peas). He’s sold over 60 million records worldwide, so a platinum record is such old news.

He doesn’t care about the detractors, the ones who say his music fell off since the first few BEP albums, the paparazzi who talk about his supercars, the gossip columns that dismiss his unique style, because he basically has the creative freedom to do what he pleases, from collaborations with Game, Britney Spears, 2ne1, Faith Hill, Daddy Yankee and varied others.

People call Will.i.am in different ways: Mr. Iam, Will, Willy and Will-a.
