Running, hopping, skipping

Flying down a long road

Looking for a needle in a haystack

'Round the corner found a broken stone

What is the reason for a quick resolving

Never finding

Mass of useless, worthless resolution

Never see a streetlight shining

Showing through the darkness

On the moonlit shoulder

Long enchanting road

And we’re coming to a town

A silent screaming monster

Though it's still untold

The barren streets and stores and sidewalks

Talking to themselves in quiet subtle underlying tones

And the caution lights are blinking

Sending paths of yellow mystic stories through the soul

And the bells are ringing

And the children are singing

It's a railroad crossing

Rushing to meet a deadline uncontrolled

And I’m running, I'm hopping, skipping

Flying down a long road

Looking for a needle in a haystack

'Round the corner found a broken stone

I did and now I'm going home
