Walking down the street it's a cobblestone

Everybody else is already home

Probbably shouldn't have forgot my phone

Every noise I hear startles me

A stick a bird I hear a train screech

I wish I could be left in peace

I go quick shortcut by the park

Walking fast an electric spark

Hoping I get to live to leave my mark

There's a swing and slide in line

Everything just looks sublime

A distraction that can't be mine

The metal creaks, every single time

That's when I noticed something behind me

Over there right behind the tree

Oh they act suspiciously

Hope they stand and look prety

Like a flash

I see them gone

I look at the time on my phone

I'm gonna miss my favourite show

Only a few more blocks as far as I know

There's defnitely something when

You feel your body heaving and

Your energy depleting

I see my house I make a brake

I launch for my front yard

Grab the rake
