Every day I search for strength

A forgotten life

Is fine with me

As long as I never face

Any of my insecurities

On the fault line

Between two plates:

One of the Kingdom

And one of this age

My heart of fear and hesitation confines me

Shackled by the unknown

Why I am I afraid?

In spite of my speech

In spite of my heart

In spite of my devotion

I fear you’re not enough for me

I don't have the courage

To follow your purpose

I don't have the vision

To see your provision

I searched for meaning

Now my allegiance is fleeting

The sun proceeds on his course

I commit to remain under the canopy of shade

With stagnation and isolation

The season remains unchanged

I am afraid to be exposed

I am afraid to become something more than I am

What comes of a man

Who forsakes his own comfort?

What comes of a man

Who lays his own life down?[1]

I want to follow the light of the sun

But what if you don't come?

And the clouds cause me to lose the light

And I am caught in the cold?

What will become of me, God?

You will know my strength

My goodness does not end[2]

I will lead you from glory to glory[3]

You will know my faithfulness[4]

I am unfailing[5]
