You were the sin of the stars

A cosmic curse gifted to my heart

Your constellations in the skies were marked

To save myself I had to disembark

When my life support ran out

I let us drift apart

I lost in all in your atmosphere

Your self destruction is what brought us here

You pulled me in, where I nearly disappeared

An event horizon where I could not breathe

Fever dreams of my now distorted memories

You left me in the dark where I could not see

You showed me how cold you could truly be

I wanted to suffocate

Caught up in your gravity

This is not where I wanted to be

I was losing my light in

Your singularity

I saw more in you than you ever did

The life I wanted I’d never get

You’re just a dying star in a night that never sets

I wouldn’t choke for this

You were my singularity

You left me in the dark where I could not see

You showed me how cold you could truly be

I wanted to suffocate

Caught up in your gravity

This is not where I wanted to be

I was losing my light in

Your singularity
