[Part I: Thinker's Dirge]

[Part II: Deluded Transcendence]

Long before the ancient times

When men had yet to learn

Five minds gathered at a sunless hill

Our way of life was their concern

Ambition rose in heart and flare

Until one of the five stood a tall

Though engulfed in enigmas of right and wrong

The birth of gods were called

Now the sins of man and eye of gods

Are bound to one common sphere

Though when manmade divinity reside above all

The very fabric of minds shall tear

Stone cold perfection corrodes

With something we were never meant to be

Content set above change

Results in a mind never to be free

Borrow from the lender

You'll find your mind is next in line

Fear the facts of life

Live out your zombie state of mind

[Part III: Sodom and Gomorrah]

[I. Prologue]

A dark shadow sways over the eastern sky

Its him, O' thy Holy, as the end draws nigh

The Cities of Plain has not obeyed their Lord

Now, he shall decay this shameful horde

[II. God's Eye]

"Citizens of Sodom and Gomorrah

I pass upon divine conviction

No more will you ever witness aurora

And you will suffer for sexual addiction"

Casting fire and brimstone's on rapists and sinners

The cities will forever burn

A punishment from the Heavens is a hellish act

Maybe now they'll finally learn

Smells of melting flesh

Surrounds the villages

They have never felt or seen

So horrific images

A beautiful forest

Once compared to the Garden of Eden

Destroyed and burned to the ground

This nature once breeding

"Bow unto me

And never ever do me wrong

As you have witnessed

Your God is mighty and strong"

As the land of Canaan is one big blaze

The ashes cover the great Dead Sea

"You will know my name is the lord

When I lay my vengeance upon thee"

[III. Passage]

But before all this took place

God did show some grace

A villager named Lot and his family

Were spared from this horrible tragedy

They traveled to the city of Zoar

Never to look back anymore

[IV. Lot's Eyes]

Two angels sent from the Heavens

To give me this fair warning

"God will kill all you sorry peasants

Bring your loved ones and flee before morning"

I ran to my sons in law

And told them about what happened at dawn

They did not believe me at all

"Please, this city will take its toll!"

Dawn shows its first signs

And the time is short

"Flee to the mountains

And your family you'll escort"

The angels grab our hands

And fly us into vigilance

"You must go and never look back

Away from this dissonance"

"Spear us the mountains are too much

We will run to the city of Zoar"

"Very well, so it be

God has mercy for you me"

Moving towards our new home

These paths we'll forever roam

All this madness and outcry was all our fault

As my wife turns around, she turns into a pile of salt

[V. Epilogue]
