Here Unknown T is asking how a girl can allow a man to be exclusive with her when he’s broke and can’t even afford to treat her every so often or spoil her a little bit. The man he’s referring to (probably an opp) even goes on dates with his girl then tries leaving promptly without paying.

“Brass” is a reference to coins and any money that isn’t in paper/note form. Whilst “hitting the belly” and having a “full belly” is slang for making enough money to eat right and live comfortably without financial worries. He’s saying that the person in question has an empty tummy and doesn’t have any stacks or money in notes; only coins to his name.

A “spinner” is british slang for a gun. Unknown T is referencing his life in the streets with “Bandits and figures, rappers and drillers”.

T is having flashbacks to when he was younger and first held a gun. This also might be a reference to classic pirate radio station Deja Vu FM, on which T could have been listening to legends like JME, Crazy Titch, and Ghetts while growing up in the early 2000s.

T refers to shooting his enemies outside the college they attend, in full view of people not involved in that life (civilians).

Unknown T is painting a quite clear picture of what goes down whenever he travels to his enemies side of town. The verbs alone show us that he isn’t messing around when he goes around there, he’s gone with one thing in mind.

“Samurai’s in batches” just means that if his whole gang cut through, there’s going to be a multitude of violent men there, most of which will have very large melee weapons such as machetes, long bladed knives and Katana (samurai swords) to inflict maximum damage upon the enemy.

If he goes with a firearm/gun instead, he wishes to hit the enemy with such a force that the enemy are lifted off their feet and backflip from the impact of the bullet due to the person’s loss of muscle control when shot.

This line is a reference to the Barbie and Bratz lines off fashion dolls, figurines and accessories.

A “Barbie” refers to any beautiful female that a man finds attractive in UK slang. Usually the “main squeeze” of that man or his favorite girl out of the rest in comparison.

Unknown T could possibly be stating that Barbie dolls look more natural and favourable to the Bratz dolls; whose make up appears to be more caked on and image appears to be more fake and reminiscent of a more “hood chick” than a “wifey”. He’s saying that you can’t call your girl a “Barbie”, when in reality she’s “Bratz”.

Additionally, Unknown T appears to be paying homage in this line to his Homerton friend and music associate KO, who rapped a similar lyric in his Mad About Bars freestyle.

This is a clear reference to Madeleine McCann. The story of the young girls suspicious 2007 disappearance from her holiday resort in Portugal is well-known across the world, and the case is still open to date.

Unknown T is saying his enemies have no backbone and are scared/shook of him and his gang; as anytime they come into contact with him, they run away and ‘vanish’. Hence why he humiliatingly calls the other side “Madeleine Gang”.

Unknown T on his opponent’s blocks (Opp block) with a balaclava on him (Bali) presumably looking for a target. Wearing a balaclava is often referred to as “No Face No Case” in the UK Drill scene, alluding to the fact that if the police can’t see your face, they will have no way to persecute you.

The last lines implies when his “opps” see him, they run away rather than facing him. The fact that he is wearing a balaclava clearly shows that he’s after them.

When a presumed prostitute see’s him flauting his money, she is prepared to show her body for our man Mr Unknown T.

Unknown T’s stating here how him and members of his gang have got into police chases before, sometimes for reasons so serious they’ve had to send helicopters searching for the perpetrators.

“Obb'” is a shortened version of the UK slang “Obbo”, meaning that Unknown T’s residing area is under observation by the Metropolitan Police and there’s heightened police presence there; due to the area and surroundings becoming a hotspot for heavy gang activity and crime.

This line is highly reminiscent of Jamaican/Caribbean dancehall culture, where in which women will “dagger” and “whine” upon their male counterpart. It’s become a popular trend at UK carnivals such as Notting Hill Carnival in London, almost expected to be seen nowadays. He could be referring to the girl dancing and ‘whining’ on him, or alternatively he could just be referring to his technique and the way he likes to have sex.

Unknown T is also saying that this female is left wanting more, but if he has more important things to tend to; like bagging up weed (spinach) to distribute for example; then she’ll come second.
