“Útlægr” is a norse term referring to someone who is banished, outlawed, or exiled. Vike has been exiled from his home after being frozen in a lake for thousands of years, hence the repetition of this norse word.
Reference to Vike’s hair, which is blonde.
In Norse mythology, Valhalla is the majestic hall of the slain ruled by Odin, where brave warriors who die in battle spend their afterlife feasting and fighting to prepare for the end times.
Vike explains how Valhalla’s honor was ripped from his grasp, meaning the honor of battle was never something he got to experience in his lifetime.
Valkyries are female figures in Norse myths who choose who lives or dies in battle. They are calling Vike’s name in pain, because he doesn’t belong in the current time period he resides in.
Helheim is a norse version of the underworld, or hell.
This refers to how both Faro and Vike have experience with once being ancient beings that have been resurrected in the modern day. Vike was frozen in ice for thousands of years, and Amenkhetsah (one half of Faro’s identity) was an king that was obsessed with achieving godhood long ago.
In this verse, Faro is making a comparison between vike and himself. “You curse Odin” refers to how Vike is cursing his norse god for his fate. Meanwhile, Faro is cursing Osiris, the egyptian god that he blames for his fate.
